Around the end of her wake window (currently about 2 hours), she starts to be less engaged in whatever we are doing, or more easily frustrated. Then yawning and rubbing eyes/face and pulling on her ear. At that point I usually put on some music that we've been using to help get to sleep (she likes being sung to sleep), and hold her and soon she starts burying her face into my chest and then I know she's definitely sleepy enough to go to sleep. Other times she's just looking about being the nosy parker she is and isn't quite ready yet. Sometimes nothing works and she's over tired and feeding to sleep is the only way she's going down.

My little one gets red eyebrows when he’s sleepy x

I have scheduled feeds (ebf) and just know that he needs to sleep in between them. Usually I put him down an hour or so before his next feed

He’s usually looking not bothered before he’s irritated like looking away or rubbing eyes and forehead like he’s had a long day at the office 😂
