Anyone else feeling wrecked from the 4 month sleep regression?

My LO was sleeping pretty well until about 3 weeks ago, I’m talking 9pm-5am straight. He’d wake up at 5, drink a little milk & go back down until 6:30am. When he was about a week shy of turning 4 months old, he added in a new wake up time at 1am + the 5am wake up. He was pretty consistent with that until last Friday when he woke up. Every. Single. Hour. I thought it had to be a fluke, but nope! Turns out it’s our new schedule. He’s been up for the past week every single hour, sometimes two, max. I know there is so much going on developmentally (we use the wonder weeks app) but our whole household is exhausted, me especially as the BF mom. Even the dog doesn’t want to sleep on our room anymore. I know thjs will pass, but seriously.. when?! Anyone else having a similar experience?

Yep, we’re going through the same exact thing. I keep hoping it’ll get better but it’s only gotten worse

Yes! My son is currently a few days shy of 5 months old. He did so well for so long! For about 3 months straight, he only woke up once per night. This past Sunday night everything went out the window abruptly. He woke 3 times, and has been waking 3 to 4 times per night since. Last night I only got 3 hours of sleep. 😭😴

Yes. Ours started when he was 3.5 months old with a few false starts and has gotten progressively worse. It's been 4 weeks 😭 crib transfer has been so difficult and he'll only stay asleep for 45 mins on the crib.

He used to sleep for 8 hrs for the first stretch

Mine too😭😭😭 and he was sleeping so peacefully in the bassinet and now he will only sleep with me 😭😭😭

My boy has been doing that too. I can't sleep. And now for the past week he will not sleep unless he is being held a certain way and he is holding my thumb. I have to sing to him. My husband doesn't really even talk to him when he's with him. And my husband never says bye when he leaves either. My son freaked yesterday when I had to have my husband take over at 7a after me being awake all night after working a 10 hour shift. My husband got him to sleep. Then he left for work. Half an hour later when I was in the bathroom taking some mommy time I just hear screaming. So I definitely think mine is a little separation anxiety. Lol. He also sadly has dark circles under his eyes. I think maybe I'm too fun for him to be around? I try to not play with him at night. But he is just so friggin talkative and playful.

I'm about to order me a Starbucks drink or something. Lol.

🤣😂 sounds like you need one!

same! It’s only getting worse over here, too! I wonder if it could stop as abruptly as it started? Like instead of progressively getting better, one night in the near future they will just go back to their old routine?

maybe..I’m just worried that my baby is picking up a bunch of bad habits along the way that I’m going to have to break. He used to be able to self soothe by sucking on his fingers and now I swear he just forgot how to and screams instead

Just here for solidarity! My girl was waking twice a night most nights (sometimes 3 times) and then suddenly this week she’s started waking up every hour 😅

Help

Hi mamas! Has anyone dealt with their baby’s hair clumping at the back of their head? I tried baby oil to loosen it but no luck so far. Any advice?

Blood in baby’s poo

Ladies, I’ve just changed my baby and noticed some blood on his poo and on the diaper. The poo was quite soft, not pebbly and he wasnt straining or anything like that. Anyone had anything like this before? What is it? Shall i call the GP?

Struggling

My baby’s 5 weeks old and I am really struggling. I knew it would be hard but it’s so much harder in reality. She won’t be put down without waking up after 5 minutes. Won’t be put down at night either. I can’t do anything without doing it one handed holding her. Every night she spends hours being stressed and crying and really difficult to console, fighting sleep and nothing I do seems to help her for more than 30 seconds. I’m just putting this out there wondering if others are going through the same. It’s a lot.

Naps etc

Hi
I have 15 week old little girl and I was just wanting advice of what other people
Do about naps in the day, she is a contact Napper, is anyone else’s baby like this or do they let you put them down, or do people do naps in the next to me with a camera etc?

Just wanting to know other people in my situations routine of how many naps do they have a day, last nap time and night time routine? We was getting somewhere with sleep, up to 5 hour stretches but over last week we have gone back to 3 hourly feeds on the dot, any advice will help!

Thanks

Introducing dummy

Did you find that your baby slept better once a dummy was introduced? Also which dummy would you recommend for breastfeeding babies?
