How much does your baby get hurt at nursery?
My LO just turned 1, he’s very very active and into everything, has been walking independently for a few months now.
He goes to nursery 2x a week and every single week for the past month they called saying he fell and bumped his head. He had a bruised cheek, a bump over the eyebrow, a scratch on his face and today a big ugly cut on the side of his head.
I’m just very uneasy with this. The first couple of times I didn’t think much of it, I know my baby, he is really on the go, but it’s constant now and waaaaay more than at home. Is this normal? Should I be worried? 😟

I would bring it up with the nursery. I work in a nursery and understand that some children are more accident prone than others, especially once they start walking. However, an accident everyday that he is at nursery isn’t right. I’d be asking for a word with the room leader and just ask her about it as to me it sounds like they aren’t supervising the children very well x
Ask the nursery about it if you’re feeling unsure, they’ll be happy to explain. My three year old has an accident form at least once a week, he attends 3 days a week but he’s none stop and it’s very on brand for how he is at home too
