We use the vanguard stocks and shares junior isa as the fees are really low.

For accessible i personally love the Yorkshire building society one 4.5% and you have to go into branch to access the cash so it puts me off accessing.
That or you can look at Junior ISAs they’re mostly no access under any circuses ((unless terminal illness) until 18yrs. Coventry/loughborough/Skipton BS have the highest rates.
You do also have access to Stock and Shares Junior ISA which in theory should give a better return.
Beanstalk, wealthify, nutmeg at all highly rated x
Also your bank may have a child’s monthly saver that offers a good return, if you can be strict and not touch it it’s can be a nice way to build up money then at the end of 12m move the funds into a Junior ISA..
I personally though have the YBS for access and then a Junior S&S ISA for my kids. Bulk no access and a small amount accessible x

I use YBS savings account for now

We went with the Yorkshire Building Society One Day account. It was the highest interest rate that wasn't a Junior ISA (as they all seemed to be Stocks & Shares and I wasn't taking that risk with her savings) and was instant access with no penalty for withdrawals in case she needed something before she turned 18 (a car maybe?) when it transfers to her - it can also transfer at 21 if you request.

my thinking exactly
