Hi all!
I am super stressed this morning as I’ve had some light brown spotting and this is what happened when I last had my MMC.
Does anyone have any positive stories from spotting and their pregnancies being ok? I’ve called the EPU and they say my symptoms are mild so even given my history there’s nothing they can do.
I have an early scan booked for 8 weeks but is it worth waiting?
Just looking for some hope or advice.

Spotting for me the last few days resulted in a repeat ultrasound today. Everything was fine for me. I’m at 7 weeks now.
5 weeks is a little bit early to see much in on ultrasound I believe but I may be wrong. There are many reasons for early bleeding pregnancy that can be not related to miscarriage.
Hoping everything is ok for you!!

Hiya I had spotting around the same time, I had an early NHS scan as I had a loss recently and she said it's completely normal and everything looked healthy. Fingers crossed it's the same for you!

I spotted for most of the first trimester and then at 13 weeks I had a full on bleed but everything ended up being okay! I’m currently 18 weeks with a strong heathy baby :)
I was under the care of a fertility clinic so when I started spotting early on they prescribed a high dose of progesterone for me to take for the whole first trimester. I believe your family doctor can also prescribe it so it would be worth mentioning to them that your spotting

I had a spotting exactly at 5w3d, lasted 2 days maximum and everything was totally fine! I was told it’s late implantation bleeding that got stuck in the uterus. Now at 15 weeks.
One thing I would say though, if it doesn’t stop after 2 or 3 days, follow up with EPU again and push for a scan. I had a miscarriage in Jan that started as spotting at 4w5d but that spotting was accompanied by cramping and never stopped and eventually got worse.
Hope it all goes well for you!
