My little one is 5 months old and we still use ours, have used it every day since she was born x

Loads of people said it was a waste of money and not to bother before she was born but honestly been one of our best purchases! I ended up having a C-section and using the changing table was only way I could get her dressed/change nappy and not be in pain, and I still use it every morning to get her dressed and for every nappy change. She loves it and is a change of scenery for her and myself. I put sensory cards around the outside and she always looks at them and plays with them!

I have two children (one 4 yo and a 4 mo) and have never had a changing table just do in the floor so really depends on personal preference and for us space.

I used to be a nanny and decided that if I ever become a mum, I won't use a changing table. I think it's a waste of space and money personally, and I mostly change my son on the bed or floor. If it's a poop I use changing waterproof wipable mat

Also done it on the floor since birth, as worried about rolling. And no issues with leaving her there to nip to the toilet etc afterwards. My 2 year old knows to lie down on the mat on the floor now or get the mat out if we're downstairs.

Our changing table is a chest of drawers with the changing table bit on top that we can take on and off so for us it isn’t a waste os space as it holds all her clothes in too, whereas you can get some that don’t hold much storage but we wanted one with draws

I stopped using the changing mat on our chest of drawers at 9/10 weeks when he started trying to roll!
Now that he can fully roll, I wouldn’t dare try. Changing mat on our bed or the floor works best for us!

I have a chest of drawers that I put an antiroll changing mat on so it doubles up as both uses.

I’ve never felt the need for it, I use a little basket that has nappies/wipes/nappy bags/muslins and a foldable changing mat from amazon inside and just move that throughout the day wherever i am and its very convenient x

Once babies can roll, it’s usually safer to get a changing mat and change them on the floor x

As soon as he started wriggling the tiniest bit we started changing him on the floor, doesn’t seem safe to be up high! His first change in the morning is on our bed but he can’t roll away anywhere

My little boy is 5 months old and I’ve never used a changing table, just a mat on the floor. Even after my c-section I found that easier. He rolls and tries to escape now whilst I’m changing him so I’m glad he’s on the floor!

We just put a change mat on our dresser. Works the same as a changing table!
