We were out and about the day after they were born
Go for a walk! Especially at a park it’s unlikely there are going to be lots of people in his space.
It’s fine from birth.
We were in the shops at 3 days old. The younger they are the better the immunity actually is as they still have the immunity given to them from you in pregnancy. No exposure to the outside world actually reduces this as the immune system needs exposure to build
We took our girl out from a week old xx
Air out that baby! Just avoid direct sunlight and excessive hot / cold temperatures. Dress baby up or down as needed. Also, indoor crowds are the issue, not outdoors. Walks are great! Get outside and see the world! Give baby a change of scenery!
Go out and enjoy the fresh air. Baby will be ok. I took my son out around the same time. Just make sure they are covered from the sun and its not too hot. They overheat so quickly.
We took our girl on day 2 x
Being that baby outdoors. Bring something to cover they eyes and a fan and ofc hydration for u n baby
It's absolutely fine to go out. We went for our first walk outside on day 3 and have tried to go out at least once a day since. The fresh air is good and helps my LG get to sleep 💕
Go outside! I was out walking my kids around the mall by the time they were 3 days old lol our mall is dead so didn’t have to worry about lots of people
Go out anytime you want for walks or places where there's no people or very few. Having fresh air is important for your recovery and for baby wellbeing.
My paediatrician said open air walks are great! So parks, etc. But to avoid restaurants and shops until after 6 weeks. No crowds. Especially since it's flu season here ATM.
I took my son to the airport a week after he was born. But I work there and I wasn’t in an area where a bunch of people were crowding him. And the people who did crowd him were people I trust. It’s okay to bring them outside just keep and eye on what’s going on around them.

We took my baby for awalk for the first time when he was a couple days old you would just have to be careful with the heat if its really hot just do a short walk or something
We were out and about as soon as we were home from hospital. Vitamin D is good for babies and being home all day is definitely not good for mum. Remember your baby is born in a hospital, surrounded by health professionals who are in and out of patients rooms all day and therefore surrounded by germs. Going for a walk is absolutely fine.
I was out with my lo the day we came home from the hospital x
I walked to the mall with my kids when they were like 3-4 days old, as long as they're dressed appropriately and you yourself feel able to walk there's no reason why not.
I say as long as it’s not too crowded and hot take that baby outside for some fresh air!
We walked every day 2 days after she was brought home. Fresh air is fantastic! As long as your not in a crowded area and no ones touching the baby I say go for it!
I think taking a stroll outdoors is great. Of course be mindful of the heat and cold. I was more cautious people breathing on my baby
Mine went outside for her first pram walk at 3 days old, went to look at wedding venues for my sister at 10 days old and went to my brothers football match at 12 days old… And this was post c section; I wanted to be out and about and not stuck inside! I left the hospital 24hrs post section!
It should be fine as long as it’s a reasonable temperature and eveb if the places are crowded if people aren’t directly in your babies face it should be fine
