Cerclage removal!!
Hi mamas! I have a vaginal/cervical cerclage & get it removed in 2 weeks. I’ve had it since I was 18 weeks so it’s wild that we are already nearing the 36 week removal! I have a question - for anyone who’s had it removed in office, what was the pain level? I’ve had a baby naturally & for some reason the cerclage removal scares me more than birth LOL. My doctor said it’s not much different than a pap, but not sure she’s being totally transparent about it 😜 either way I’m thankful to be getting it out SO soon so I know the excitement will far outweigh the possible discomfort! Not sure why I get so anxious with procedure pain but not labor/birth pains lol. Thanks in advance!!

I’ve had 2 but mine failed and ripped my cervix which actually is what caused my preterm labor so removal was excruciating. Idk how normal removal feels
Yeah, my removal was excruciating, and I went septic in the process. I went into labor at 20 weeks with twins, which wasn't believed and the reason leading to the sepsis. My TVC was literally trying to test itself open for two days until I almost died and ended up in the ICU childless.

I know exactly what you mean I was the same with all 3 of mine, not afraid of the labour but more of the removal 😅 Dr is right it’s really quick and not painful at all! I hope everything goes well! Best of luck 💕💕
