7 week old cluster feeding and leap 2

My little one is seven weeks and three days and has been really difficult since week six. I read that this could be because of the developmentally where in week six he’s learning to see what’s happening around him which can cause nap reluctance and resistance because he wants to look around him. I thought we were past that but now I saw on The Wonder Weeks app that he’s entering leap to which is about patternshe’s been very difficult to sleep. Only having short naps of 30 minutes and cluster feeding. I was wondering if anyone else is going through the same thing. Is it really meant to be that weeks six, seven and eight? Have some sort of sleep progression any advice would be really helpful at this point. I’m at breaking point and it’s really affecting my mental health and I’m hoping that this is just a phase that he will grow out of…

OMG I needed to read this. Currently 7 weeks old and my baby girl is doing exactly the same. Her naps between feeds are only 30 mins max and she loves to look around and explore and expect us to hold her and walk around all the time lol Very cute but exhausting cause her night sleep is somehow affected too. I’ve heard it’s a phase so hope they will grow out of it in next couple weeks 😊 Hang in there Mama

Exactly the same for us.

My girl is 7 weeks tomorrow and she’s usually a complete darling but from 7pm-10.30 nothing settles her.

She’s not interested in evening naps and just wants feed after feed.

Also, in the day, she doesn’t nap unless we’re out of the house (in the car or in her pram) where before, she would nap most of the day away x
