Group B strep test

I was told if I want the test it is usually between 38-40 weeks but I've opted to have the antibiotics instead of having the test.
Maybe give your MLU a ring if you want the test? X

I opt out of getting the test. Results can change so quickly. My midwife told me you could test positive one day and negative the next. Totally your choice if you get it or not! If you want it, ask your midwife!

Never offered (I'm past my DD now) and wouldn't accept if I was 🙈

I had mine at my very first appointment at six weeks via urine… someone from the US asked why the UK were testing so early for it and I honestly couldn’t answer. Been given minimal information other than I could test negative the following week and it’s advised to have the antibiotics to protect baby 🤷🏼‍♀️ I keep pushing to be tested again as almost 38 weeks now!
