Is there actually any difference between WaterWipes and supermarket/boots own brand water wipes? WaterWipes are expensive but I think Amazon have some offers for prime day. Is it worth spending the extra?

Water wipes are verrrrry wet

Water wipes made my 1st very sore! Non fragranced or sensitive wipes I find are better

we usually stick with Aldi extra sensitive wipes but now we’re about to have 2 we’ve bought these to stock up and although they’re good they are very wet so think we’ll have to dry babies bum after using them so they’re not getting sore but they’re okay for my toddler

oh thank you for letting me know! I’ll see how I get on, but may do the same/look for alternatives. I understand with having 2 children though it’s good to stock up as they’re amazingly priced! X

exactly! They worked out similar price to the Aldi once we usually get but it’s the convenience of having them delivered. My first was sensitive to a lot so at first we ended up opting for water and cotton wool and just making sure she was dry and then after a bit we swapped to wipes

so true! I’ve bought so many cotton pads in the same Amazon order for that reason, will probably stick to cotton pads for the first week or so and then move to wipes and see how I get on! I have veryyyy sensitive skin so hoping my baby doesn’t take after me 🤞🏼

I’m the same and my baby ended up sensitive and she’s now 18m and just been diagnosed with eczema 😫

I find the own brand ones too thin and flimsy, your finger goes through them as you are trying to wipe. I use Huggies Pure with my first and will with this next baby too.
They are cheap but good quality.

aww bless her! I feel her pain 😫

I second Huggies pure, I will be using these again

I’m using cotton pads and water to start with only, will try water wipes after a month maybe however I do hate the feel of them up until 6 months then change to pampers sensitive they are our fav for our first. Try a couple every baby is different. Water wipes are £££

I used Aldi extra sensitive wipes for my first and still do. They’re 99.4% water. I’ll be using them for the new baby too 😊
