I had a D&C procedure done 6 days ago, I was somewhat informed what to expect, light bleeding at the start, and more bleeding after 3-6 days. I seem to have hit that bleeding at 6 day mark and been monitoring flows.
Here's what I didn't expect! Excruciating pain in my pelvic floor/tailbone. It's sporadic, it elevates when gas forms in my stomach. Just becomes unbearable for a few seconds.
Has anybody had this problem? If yes, how long does this darn thing last!! I'm worried if this becomes permanent my life will be hell.

I definitely didn't have bleeding that intensified and I don't remember being told to expect it. No excruciating pain like that either. Could be completely normal but I'd say it's worth getting checked out. You've been through enough without all that

I had mine last week and yes I know exactly what you’re talking about! I don’t know exactly what it is, and I wouldn’t say mine is excruciating. But I was getting tightness and pulling pains in my abdomen and it almost hurt my pelvic floor to sit down sometimes. And I was getting pretty painful gas pains for a couple seconds. But with the bleeding i also had the same. Little bleeding at first but after day 3 it got worse. But I’m on day 7 and I think it’s letting up. I did mention these pulling pains to my doctor a couple days ago and was told it’s normal. And I don’t really have it anymore on day 7. But please if you feel something isn’t right it can’t hurt to reach out to your doctor!

I’ve had 2 and no pain either time and very very minimal bleeding

When I had my d&c my bleeding was heavy after about 4 days. I had excruciating horrible pain that I went to the ER in the middle of the night because I felt there was no way they wouldn’t give me anything for pain if that was normal. I ended up having a really bad uti. They gave me pain meds and antibiotics and I felt better within 24 hours. I would definitely call your OB just in case to get checked out.
@Lindsey thank you, good to know it's not just me. Let me monitor for another day before calling my OB.
