Teething

My LO has been teething since 12 weeks, she is now 18 weeks. Only 1 tooth has come through so far. I feel like I’m always giving her teething power, 3-4 times a day, is this okay? Is it too much/ will have negative effect on her? She has teething toys but not sure what else to use to help!! Any advice please :)

Also I hardly give her calpol/ nurofen as I feel bad for doing so!

Following because I feel like my LO is struggling 😪

Is she definitely teething? At this age they do tend to stick their hands in their mouth & dribble lots generally.

In regards to calpol, I’d just give it and not feel too bad - if you had toothache you wouldn’t think twice about having pain relief :)

You can give 3 sachets in 24 hours (that’s what you can with ashtons and parsons) so 6 x half sachets.

My daughter is exactly the same and I will only give her calpol when I can see she is really bad and that will only ever be once a day too. 🙂
