I’ve been told (not definite yet) that I cannot breastfeed because of some heart medication I take so I was wondering what the best formula is for babies? I breast fed and used formula for my others but feels so long ago now, my last baby had a severe milk allergy so we actually had his milk on prescription. What does everyone use? And how are we suppose to make bottles up these days? Everything changes all the time and I just find such conflicting information online

My son used Aptamil but I’ve also heard great things about kendamil. There are instructions on the back of all the tubs explaining how to make the bottles, as well as graphs regarding how much they should be on and how often according to age.. but obviously every baby is different.
I only started using formula at 6 months so I’m not sure if it’s different for newborns but however much required boiling water in a sterilised bottle, leave to cool for 15ish mins, add the appropriate amount of formula & shake. I never used prep machines so can’t advise for that unfortunately but might be worth looking into as I know a lot of people who did use them

Kendamil 👍🏼 we use goat milk, was using Aptamil at first but swapped after few days as LO had a hard time on in

Tommee Tippee prep machines and we’ve gone with Kendamil
