What did people do before room thermometers?! 😱

I feel like I’m obsessed with the temp in my little ones bedroom at nighttime. I keep going and checking and worrying that she’ll be too hot/too cold. I can’t imagine what people did in a time before Groeggs 🤣

I don’t use one, I go by the feeling on my LO chest/back skin temperature, she is always so hot so I can be freezing and she is in short sleeves, at the beginning I was dressing her as the recommendation per temperature but she was always getting red and uncomfortable by how hot she felt, she rearly is cold, and is safer cold than hot anyways.
