Stool softeners

My doctor recommended magnesium or milk of magnesia

I take stool softeners and miralax every night. I was having this issue before, but this is the right remedy.
My doctor told me she did this every night while she was pregnant herself, so I gave it a shot!

Rocking back and fourth helps a lot or stretching/moving around before hand ๐ญ

GNC probiotics. 2 at night. Poopin champion over here. No liquid diarrhea shits either. When you first start it takes a couple days to build up but damn when it works it's beautiful.

Honestly get a bidet, angle it just right and use it to your advantage ๐๐ ๐ ๐ Gets everything out

Ik this may sound weird but when stool softeners didnโt work for me I ate a lot of watermelon and I realized since it got pregnant it helps me poop so easy idk why

Magnesium citrate is great. I would avoid miralax because of the ingredients. Squatty potty is a game changer. Beet powder also helps with circulation

def a struggle like the bump makes it hard for everything ๐

Not gonna lieโฆ dried mango ๐

I have been taking a Magnisium complex at night that has Magnisium glycinate (a more bioavalible form) and Magnisium oxide for restless legs/better sleep etc and it's helped with staying regular too I haven't had any constipation and most days go twice. I also tend to eat more fruits and complex carbs, so I believe that combination has helped, too, with the fiber. Hope you find some relief.

Besides what everyone has said, my pelvic floor therapist showed me how to use my breathing to "push" things out. Also, a squatty potty might help you. Regular exercise and sleep also help. I have been taking magnesium almost daily too, I only had trouble with constipation at the end of my 2nd trimester but only awesome poops now.

Fruit helps me and I also have a squatty potty, a foot stool works if you donโt have one

In the same boat at 33weeks, drinking a cup of coffee relatively fast has been the only thing to actually help LOL

Let's be serious, if I can't poop I'm drinking coffee. Even before pregnancies I've never been great at passing movements and coffee is always something that gets it moving. I don't drink coffee every day but it's usually every other day otherwise I become horribly constipated if I don't. I drink that Colombian coffee cafe Bustello. You don't need a lot either just half a mug to a mug should do the trick. Also, u have a squatty potty and it doesn't do the trick for me without the coffee.

Metamucil! I had a rough patch with constipation circa 28w and this is what helped: 1. metamucil before a meal (up to 3x a day at first- now that itโs better i do just in the morning before breakfast), hydrate like crazy, and eat lots of fruits and veggies. smoothies help up the veggie content a lot- frozen kale in them etc. Seriously this can be gotten under control and itโs a major game changer for how you feel. took me maybe 2-3 days of doing this to get unblocked but i have stuck with it and havenโt been constipated since. almost 34w now.
