ADHD and reading
My son was diagnosed with ADHD, he’s going into 3rd grade and he’s having a hard time learning to read, he’s on IEP and it’s helped him a tremendously in other subjects but he’s having a hard time learning to read and he’s aware of it which makes his self esteem low, he’s been asking me to help him but he has such a hard time combining words. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what else I can do to help him, is there any other services I can get for him being that he has ADHD. It really hurts to see him hurting and I don’t know how else I can help him.

Does he have dyslexia?
Not that I’m aware of, I’ve never even thought of this until you mentioned it, but he did also have a hard time learning his alphabets also, with the extra help from IEP he was able to learn his alphabets
