Court proceedings for child contact

So my ex was emotionally and verbally abusive and I left after our child turned 1

He was very unreliable and honestly refused / refuses to commit to being a parent and wants to see our child when it's convenient for him... to which I've said no. He's going through the courts to try and " see his child regularly " ... he wants to see him every two weeks.... sat- Sunday only ( he's reason being he " has a life")

Anyway..

So I've gotten a letter from cafcass about a meeting and I'm not sure what to expect? I was wondering what happened

Should I disclose the reason for " withholding" contact
Mine are : he picks and chooses to see him when convenient, has been erratic and abusive towards me during pick up/drop off. I had travelled with my son for a year before coming back to England and during that time my ex refused to discuss how often he's see him and basically refused to have him overnight. He was previously abusive to me verbally and started stalking me once I moved out. I did let the police know but there were no further investigations ( as I reported everything just before I left for our travels and it was very difficult communicating with the police due to connections/ time differences)


As I have documentation of most of this and have had support from different local services


Do I disclose all this or what should / shouldn't I say.

I don't want it to look like my child is going through it when this is a chapter we managed to move from... and have been thriving


I genuinely feel like my child is happier without the instability of his father.
