I can be an emotional and opinionated person. I find it hard to hold my tongue at certain things and hard to keep my thoughts to myself. I really want to tell my boyfriend and have all kinds of conversations with him, but he doesn’t it. He makes it seem like I’m inconveniencing him or like he’s annoyed with me for wanting to talk and it often leads to arguments because i feel dismissed and unheard and the way he acts and sounds so unbothered and the things he says to me hurts my feelings to where it just seems like he does not like me for real. So i asked him if he does not like me anymore or like the woman that i am and he says i love you and im like i didn’t ask that and im like you being silent is actually being loud and clear and he’s like I love you. But he won’t answer or say that he likes me or the woman that i am. Am i tripping? Should i not take it so personally or should i genuinely feel a certain way and feel like he loves me but doesn’t like me?

I’m in a relationship like this. It’s very frustrating and very lonely. Don’t know what to suggest because I’m struggling with it too. But it’s not only you x

Some men don’t like to chat especially if the conversation is one sided and full of venting. Idk if he’s always been a quiet person, but maybe try talking about things he’s interested in instead of yourself and ask questions about him that will allow him to open up. Practice that until a two way conversation can be had. Also, find other people you can vent to. Talk to God. Talk to yourself. He might be dealing with his own things internally and having someone else always trying to dump their feelings on you can be exhausting especially if they never ask how you’re doing or what’s on your mind.
yeah that’s the only time he seems excited to talk is when it’s about something he got going on or something we need to take care of, but not interested in like having other conversations about random things and learning our perspectives on certain situations you know.
