My first baby we learned the absolute easiest for changing diapers is either zippered sleepers/footies and things that have buttons/zippers right around the diaper area. We used a sleep sack or swaddled for the temperature regulation 🙂 however especially after the first few weeks during the day just sitting in your house it doesn't really matter baby shouldn't be cold in most outfits! We never did socks because I put them on once and then noticed she had marks on her legs even though they were a size too big when I took them off

Yes my daughter was born in December she wore a bunch of onesie’s in the house and footies outside and to doctor appointments

And hats!

And yeah 2 pieces are more so for 4-6 months need to be free to move and scrunch up

We did all onsies and footies for the first few months. I personally hate button up footies I've come to realize. Especially with a wiggly baby. We got 2 sleep sacks to try but I'm glad I didn't invest in a lot because my son refused to be swaddled out of the hospital 🤣 socks and shoes were non existent until recently (he's now one) once the ground got too warm for me he wears shoes. I prefer barefoot. It's a lot better developmentally for them too!

The best are the onesies with the feet covered! Go with zippers, they are so much easier than snaps. I reccomend NB, and 0-3. My baby was in NB for longer than I expected! I had an 8.13oz baby who was over 18 inches too. Carters NB sizes are larger than other brands, highly reccomend!

Onesies, sleepers and a bundle coat… I didn’t take my first one out that much after she was born (January) and I don’t plan on taking this one out much if I can help it.

We use Lou Lou & Co gowns. So easy to knot at the bottom when it's cold but perfect to leave open and put in car seats

Target has the double zipper which we LOVE!!! Perfect for night time, just unzip from the bottom and baby stays warm!

Onesies and footie pajamas. My first baby was born in August and she was layered up with a onesie and a sleeper at night. She is also quite long so a few months in we decided to stop buying footed things and only use sleepers open at the ankles. She would outgrow the length even though the rest of the item fit her. We ended up stopping swaddling quite quickly and have loved sleep sacks. Keeps her feet warm without socks
