I am currently 13 weeks pregnant with my second baby, and although my husband and I are beyond excited and happy to be pregnant again, I am having it a hard time to enjoy being pregnant.. This pregnancy so far has been so hard for me compared to with my first. I started having severe morning sickness along with pretty much every other pregnancy symptom you can think of from literally the day I found out at 4 weeks. I honestly feel miserable. And having to take care of my 15 month old all day is even more exhausting, which makes me feel so guilty bc I feel like I’m not being the best version of myself for her. And just when my morning sickness started to go away last week, my daughter got really sick and tested positive for Covid, and of course so did I. So now we are both sick and miserable.. It’s like never ending 😩 I feel sooo guilty for not enjoying this pregnancy as much as I should, and for not being the best mother right now.

I honestly think the best thing you can do for yourself and both babies is being kind to yourself and giving yourself grace. People keep telling me to be happy (I am now) but in the beginning when I couldn’t even drink water or eat for weeks, it really helped to just be honest with myself that I was having a hard time. Personally I prayed, meditated and relied on my mom to make me feel comfortable because it’s so hard. If possible ask your husband if he can help put more with your 15/mo so you can rest cause I am always exhausted and need a good nap and snacks in between. Wishing you a successful journey and hoping your second trimester comes by so smooth❤️

I can agree with you, except I don’t feel guilt! Pregnancy is hard!!! You are growing a whole ass human!! I hate being pregnant, it’s not fun at all. It sucks 😂😂😂 just nice when you get to feel movement and watch your belly grow and of course all of the scans and what not! But other than that!?…I just wanna sleep and eat lolol
thank you. I do try to be kinder to myself, but some days the hormones take over and the emotions kick in. And yes, my husband has been so supportive through this journey. He’s always asking me what I need and luckily He has a flexible job so he was able to get time off work so he could take care of me and our daughter. Truly a blessing. I know things will get better. Good luck with your pregnancy as well 🤍

You’re definitely not alone, my first just turned 2 a couple months ago & he cries whenever he wants me to get off the couch & play with him & I simply just don’t feel like it bc of the nausea! I’m going on 15w & still waiting on it to pass.. between 🤮everyday & constant headaches it’s making me miserable & while I’m so happy & blessed to be having another I can’t help but to wish this pregnancy fly by! I feel guilty by not giving my son the attention he’s used to but if Im not hugging a trash can I just wanna sit still or lay down & nap to keep calm!
