15 mth old fever after 2nd dose flu vaccine - normal?
My son had his second dose flu vaccine this morning and he just got a mild fever just now. Wondering if that's likely related and normal? 38.1degrees c.
I keep worrying about fevers because he kept developing it when he was sick with RSV/ ear infection.
He's recovered now but wondering if his current fever is normal and expected with a second dose? Thanks

Yes it is normal :) focus on ensuring hydration, nappy output etc when running a fever

It was down before but that high suddenly. A bit worried
If your worried get Bub seen. You are never in the wrong for wanting your child checked.
Other things to look at is if bubs heart is beating fast (this can happen with a high fever), lethargic/weak- offer Panadol and Nurofen on a rotating system.
How is Bub presenting? Is he/she asleep.
How did he/she feed before bed (food/bottle/breast/water?
ohk, will do. Everything else seems fine like active and energetic and eating perfectly well. Not sure about heart beat
Will probably get him In anyway cause the fever comes back up after the Panadol and Nurofen
