Has anyone had babies close in age?
I got a letter in the post to say I have been fined over £100 because the first midwife didn’t write a maternity exemption letter for me.
I had my previous baby on 3/02/23 and she was really unwell and she passed away on her e.d.d.
I fell pregnant in October with my rainbow baby and the first midwife at the 8week appointment didn’t fill out the exemption for meds as it overlapped.
Now here I am trying to dispute this payment between April and May.

Just forgot to say my rainbow baby was born on the 8th of July
I had this happen as well and got fined for two prescriptions
If you email the challenge address then they will take the fine off and just as you to pay the prescription charge
Still not ok, but better than paying £100+!
Gone through doctors to give me a letter. As the midwives can only back date the maternity exemption for 1 month only.
I was told by my midwife at the first appointment to not get a prescription under the exemption until I had physically received the form to prevent this happening x
Once I get the next letter just going to pay for the prescription but I have made a complaint to the first midwife who saw me who didn’t fill the form out.
