Is 4oz too much for one month old?

Every baby is different! My 6 week old is eating anywhere between 4-5oz every 3-3.5 hours. And sometimes she even needs a top off (1oz, if that!) If he’s not spitting up or showing discomfort, you’re doing good mama!

My 7 week old has been eating 4 oz for a few weeks now. Sometimes, not often, he will take another 2 oz an hr later.

My one month old drinks 4 oz too and hold her for 3 hours.. if I give her 2 she gets fuzzy

My 7 week old drinks 5 oz every 4.5 hrs

Not too much! My 3 week old is eating up to 6 oz per feeding

Like Skylar mentioned above, ever baby is different. When my baby was 1 month he would be eating 5oz because he’d still be hungry after only 3-4oz. If baby drinks it fine then I think you’re okay! Baby’s will let you know if they’re full!! & I am exclusively pumping.

Sounds like something they are doing could be causing him to throw up. Are they burping him in between ounces? (I do about every 2 ounces, and some babies need burped every ounce) and more importantly, how are they burping him? If they do the method of resting his head into their hand and pat him while he's sitting up, almost guaranteed he will throw up. I know our son threw up every time we would try this method. Over the shoulder or on the chest is safest if your not wanting him to throw up. I would look into what the differences are between you feeding him and them feeding him, there's definitely something different
