Back labour
Has anyone who’s had their baby this month experienced back labour? I’m having very strong tightenings but they’re radiating from my tailbone upwards and I’m not really feeling anything in my abdomen. Wondering if this could be back labour and if its normal.

I didn't feel any in my belly, mine was actually rectal so I questioned it too because just felt like intense sensation on and off of needing to poop. She came a few hours later

my waters broke with my first and on the way to hospital (had to go straight in due to group b strep) i started contracting in my back. only at the time i didnt even think you could contract in your back! it was absolutely horrible and obviously eventually unbearable. absolutely feel for u if it is back labour 🥺keep us updated & good luck xx
My labour with my LB was like this. He was back to back only felt contractions in my back the whole way through xxx
Hey. So I had this feeling in my rectum for about 1 min at a time, 7-10 mins apart. Called triage after about 2 hours of noticing it and when I went in, I was already 4cm dilated! They said it is normal to experience labour in this way too as I also told them I didn't think it was !
I did with my first cause he was back to back
My son was back to back and it’s known to be more painful 😣
Update- thank you everyone for replying! Went into triage and my baby isn’t back to back. Not dilated but cervix is soft. Having inconsistent back only contractions. Just want this baby out now!
