Swimming on holiday

So in a few weeks time I'm going to a caravan park and I've booked in to go swimming with my toddler, now will it be safe? ๐Ÿ˜‚ Because I've read swimming can actually start you off. I'll be around 35 weeks.

Am I better off taking some things with me for a hospital if labour does end up happening? ๐Ÿ˜‚ For months since this holiday is as booked up I've been convincing my self I'm going to give birth in the middle of the caravan park ๐Ÿ˜‚

Swimming in a pool is absolutely fine never heard of it potentially kick starting labour, lakes and rivers n that's sort of stuff is a no because there not sanitary but chlorinated pools are fine. My midwife told me that swimming is actually beneficial during pregnancy never said I couldn't. (Obviously if you have a high risk pregnancy or have been told differently by a medical professional listen to that advice instead)

No idt thatโ€™s true , Iโ€™m in the army and we do pt every morning still ( pregnancy pt ) and pool pt is apart of our weekly schedule. If it wasnโ€™t safe they wouldnโ€™t let us do it

My antenatal physio recommended swimming because it repositions how gravity works on your bump. At 35 weeks I'd have a go bag with you if you do go into labour with your hospital notes too - just take your main go bag with you on holiday :) you'll be very near full term and it'd probably set your mind at ease to have it than not. Have fun with your toddler!
