Iron

Not me personally - mine is low and I’m on supplements but it hasn’t dropped again.
But it’s happened to others I know. They might suggest you switch supplements to try a different one, or perhaps a transfusion.

Yes mine dropped so low they referred me to antenatal clinic and after 4 weeks or.iron tablets and still symptomatic they got me.booked in asap for and iron infusion.

Was everything ok after the iron infusion? Is baby growing well?

I had low ferritin and iron at my 28 week appointment following them being low at 25 weeks so was booked in for an iron infusion within the week and told to increase my iron tablets to twice a day.
Had repeat bloods yesterday at my 31 week appointment and both are within normal but have been advised to continue the tablets.
If you're symptomatic, I'd ask for the infusion as it should help

Aw similar happened to me! They’ve given me some iron tablets, which have helped with my exhaustion

Mine dropped earlier in the pregnancy so I was referred to the specialist care and got another growth scan. I started eating double dose of iron tablets and was able to get iron levels up. I have now been discharged from specialist and had my growth scan yesterday - everything looked fine :)

only just got it yeaterday so cant give a good update yet as they said it can take a week to feel the benefits but i swear im less breathless already and baby has been fine throughout this as far as im aware 😊
Also ive been told not to take any more iron tablets until my.next app with midwife to have bloods redone and take it from.there

Mine have been dropping since my booking appointment but they finally gave me an infusion yesterday. Baby is on the 10th centile and the doctor said this could be because of the anaemia but no one else has said that
