Is anyone else’s almost 7 month old just spitting all foods out? I see so many other babies of similar ages eating really well and worried that I’m doing something wrong?

OMG SAME!!! And I try with the BLW but he will lit just sit there and just look at me like what do u want me to do hun? I try putting food in his hand but he just squishes it and chucks it on the floor. I try preloading spoons and he flings the food off. I tried mushy textures and he just spits it out. He seems really angry and upset during meal times. I guess we just have to give it time. I try not to worry as there is plenty time for him to get used to it as milk is their main source of nutrients until 1. I do really feel for you because it does make you think something is wrong. I keep trying to involve him at meal times and sit and eat my food with him xx

Haha you aren't doing anything wrong dear. Those little babies can be divas. I hear you have to keep trying and trying for some babies. Mine just hates the sitting in her chair part so sometimes I use those squashy feeding things and she eats even things I dont think she will like. Guzzled down avocado like a pro the other day. Of all the things to like. Then we tried mango puree and yoghurt in her bowl and that went well. Although doesn't help she now tastes everything first including the breast🤣🤣 before going for it. Keep at it, offer something you're having too. Ignore those videos they don't show half the food on the floor.lol

My almost 7mo old is the same! He is barely interested and im seeing others having 3 meals a day😅🥲
Thank you all, glad to know that it’s not just my daughter 😅 I’m sure with a lot of perseverance our babies will get there!

Our girl spits most of it out but they are eating more than you think even if most is on the floor lol remember how tiny their stomachs are compared to us so don't worry about it. They have a while yet before they need to move on from milk so for now it's just exploring Xx
