We think my LO has reflux and she's on baby Gaviscon however still having at least one vomit a day. It's quite a large amount as well :( not sure if that's normal either....There doesn't seem to be a pattern as to when it might happen, but I just put her in the car seat (about 1.5 hours after a feed) and she threw up, it's happened a few times when I've put her in the car seat, is that a thing?? I'm getting quite worried it's going to start impacting her weight, she's on formula anyway as she was premature. Anyone else going/gone through anything similar and found anything that helped. They have said we can try omeprazole if the baby Gaviscon doesn't work.

My 4 months old has reflux too. He had a tongue tie, he was very slow and gaining weight. We breastfed for 2 months but he started having reflux, which got even worse when we introduced formula. We tried Carobel and Gaviscon. Gaviscon was making him constipated and gave him tummy aches. The best thing we have done was trying Reflux formula- we are on Cow & Gate so I mix half of the usual formula and half reflux formula at every feed. He still has spit ups but they are much better.
We are also feeding more often, smaller quantities. Since we have started it he gained weight, he is not skin and bone anymore. Before trying Omeprazole is worth trying reflux formula I think.
Let’s hope they will grow out of it quickly.
