Obviously I’m not privy to the complex dynamics likely at play, but I don’t think I’ve ever received a baby shower invite that didn’t have a “hosted by:” line item.
Usually the host handles the RSVPs, and planning. So on my invites it said "Please RSVP to NAME (Number) by xxxx" and that was the only indication of who is hosting.
Her grandma is having everyone rsvp to her number and not my sisters
I would tell them to eff off then.... Or tell them they can add it themselves.
I don’t like the energy from this at all. Tell them you want to cancel and do your own thing, baby showers don’t have to be extravagant get together, do something small at your place with people that have good energy. 🩷 I can’t stand inconsiderate people with off energy.
