Babies first time at the beach
We are planning a trip to Myrtle beach the first week of September and I’m nervous! Our thought is driving through the night so the kids are asleep and will remain asleep until we get to our location (of course we will have stops so we can check on them and etc since they’ll be in the car for a while).
Our babies will be 8 months and 20 months and I’m so scared. We’ve never traveled with kids and let alone stayed in a hotel with kids before. Liam is wild!!! He’ll run and scream out of the blue and Leila she’ll give a little shout as well.
What are must needs for the beach for little ones? Of course I’ll carry the sunblock, life jackets, fans etc but something that would help with keeping the kids busy in the hotel and on the beach.

Get a beach blanket and beach toys.
I just got back from Myrtle Beach! If you can, visit Huntington Beach State Park as well. That one has a park and a castle to walk through and the sand is softer. Sand toys are are huge hit with my son. He would spend hours just digging in the sand. Myrtle Beach is big, but if you go to Myrtle Beach State Park it's less commercialized than regular Myrtle Beach (although you do pay to get in).
Ripley's Aquarium is also in Myrtle Beach if you need an indoor activity!
