Hello!
Any tips to be able to have fruit ?? I am in Spain at the moment visiting family for 3 weeks and I am really struggling with not eating fruit as it is so refreshing and delicious. Peach spikes my levels and it is my fav. I had normally a kiwi in the morning but my readings were high so I stopped. 😢

Keep it to small pieces and go for a walk or exercise right after, I can handle apples but if I have anything else I need to burn off the sugar straight away

Berries are generally low
Carb. Strawberries, blackberries and blueberries. You could give it a try in moderation.

Pair it with yogurt or cream, or I was told I can have a small amount of fruit as my snacks and I don’t test for them x

I really missed fruit but with cream or yogurt things like strawberries were ok for me. Citrus and things like peaches and nectarines I couldn't manage but pearsand apples were ok

Thank you all, I am not craving anything sweet (thankfully) but the fruit really got me on this 🥲 I’ll have to see if affects me and I will try and stay active just after

I tried to pair fruit with a protien and usually I'd eat the protien first so I got to savor the fruit at the end.

I had watermelon today and some walnuts and my levels after 1.15 hours were 5.9
I went for 10 min swim and drank lots of water but I was so chuffed I nearly cried

Berries. Granny Smith apples.
