Congrats mama! I'm a second time mom and the best I can say is do what is best for your baby. Follow your mom instincts if something doesn't feel right don't keep listening to those who say it's ok. You know your baby best.

2nd time mommy here. I agree with . Listen to your body and communicate your wants/needs. I was so uncomfortable my last few weeks and didn't know the difference between contractions and just being uncomfortable. Ended up being almost 5cm by the time I got to the hospital.

A little "down the road" advice, but I have found it to be the most useful out of all of the advice I got as a first time mom:

Buy. Extra. Sheets. And. Mattress. Protectors. And then layer them. Protector, sheet, protector, sheet. Now when you have a blow out, spit up, accident of any kind, you just strip off the dirty set and put baby/kid back to bed without having to remake the bed at 3am!

Take a deep breath, it'll be ok. I was excited and terrified at the same time, but looking back at birth (ftm experience) it wasn't as bad as I was terrified it was going to be.

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

Anxious/depressed

My first pregnancy symptom was my anxiety out of nowhere. I feel like I'm a bundle of nerves and just so scared of everything. Is anyone else feeling similar? How are you managing? Are we contributing it to hormones?

Sneak Peek Test

I did the sneak peek test at 15 weeks pregnant, and the results just came back girl! Has anyone ever taken the test, gotten girl, and it been wrong?
