30wks-irritable uterus

Anyone else been told they have an irritable uterus? I’ve been having Braxton hicks (no pain) off and on all day for the last four days. When I’m up and moving around I get them the most. This morning when I had time to count it was 5 times in one hour. I’ve drank over a gallon a day the last four days. They say to just continue to monitor. Wanted to see if if anyone else is going through similar right now?

I've been having braxton hicks for weeks now.....but for me it's usually when I'm sitting down, laying down or when I'm hot. Sometimes they're painless and just uncomfortable and sometimes they're accompanied with period like pains that can be painful until they pass....but I'm also pregnant with twins and it could just be growing pains?

I've been having this my entire pregnancy. It doesn't hurt but it doesn't feel good and makes me anxious.

I haven't had anything go wrong so far, I'm 28w now. I sort of feel like you shouldn't worry. Make sure you're hydrated though!

oh yes I forgot to add I’ve been occasionally having period like cramping too!

It’s just nice to hear from others who are going through the same thing as I continue to remind myself that it’s ok and “normal” for some people. 🥰

This would happen cuz I would try to do ab workouts, so I stopped and tried doing standing only workouts and it's still hurts if I workout 😤😤😤😤😤
I hate to stop but I also hate to sit on the couch all day cramping in pain while my toddler plays alone or watches TV 🥲

honestly me too. Is it your first baby? I think some people just feel a lot of the effects of the growing. I don't have this every day, but pretty commonly. It's not horrific period pain, but enough to make me feel grumpy.

Braxton hicks are completely normal and nothing to worry about unless you find them extremely painful. It’s just your uterus getting ready for birth. They do really suck tho. Mine always hit when I’m at work so there’s not much I can do about them

yeah, first baby. Had an early mc with mva then d&c last year. Also have a retroflexed uterus. Wonder how much of this is contributing to having an irritable uterus. But thankful it is normal. Like you said just have to remind myself it’s normal and not be anxious about it.
