Am I the Ahole
I’ve been feeling really bad lately about how tired my bd is when he comes home from work and takes over with the baby. For context: We have shifts at night with the baby so we can both get sleep. my bd drives for uber. He wakes up every morning at 3 am, washes the bottles and goes off to work. He gets home around 1-2 pm. When he comes home, he takes over with the baby so I can get a break. We put her down to sleep at 8. We also go to sleep at 8 and He wakes up for her feeds until midnight. I wake up at midnight to pump, and from midnight to the time he comes home from work I have the baby. But he’s so tired by the time he puts her down because she’ll be so fussy and crying but he doesn’t ask me to do it because he says it’s “his shift”. Should I be helping him more during his time because he goes to work? I feel like I should be doing more yet at the same time, during his time with her I’m cleaning the house, washing the bottles for his night shift with the baby, getting to finally shower and eat and pump. I feel like because I’m the mom I should be helping more with the baby even if I’ve had her for the past 14 hours.

Given that he is driving the whole time he is gone I would be concerned about him falling asleep on the road bc it sounds like he is only sleeping 12-3? To me it’s a safety issue and I don’t think that safe for him or the people he is driving
Are you working during the day? I would say if not then it would be safer for your husband to sleep more at night bc you have the option to sleep during the day if needed, while your husband doesn't have that option.
He does go to sleep with me at 8, and he’ll wake up once to feed the baby if it’s before midnight and then after midnight I have her and he doesn’t wake up until he goes to work at 3. But you’re both right, I’m going to take the night feedings all together since he does drive
