How to get toddler to poop on potty!?
Hello all! My son just turned 3, he's been doing great at preschool with the potty, dry all day so we decided this past Saturday it was time for underwear. Yesterday was his first day at school with underwear on & he was dry all day, same with today too! But he will not poop there which I know is normal. He'll poop before we leave the house & once we get home. The problem is he will not do it on the toilet 😩 (Sometimes the underwear can be saved & other times it's complete garbage & why they so expensive lmao) anyway so we been home for about a a half hour now he still hasn't went but I did have him sit and nothing yet. He's willing to pee but that's it. What have you guys done? I tried telling him his belly hurts because he prob has to go.... nope, I even tried sitting on the potty with him 😭

Does he seem anxious about it? You can make it funny. My neighbor once said to my daughter while babysitting her, that she poops like a trucker (said it like he was amazed), and she loved it. So I always piggybacked off of that said, are you pooping like a trucker? She was never afraid and acted like a big girl because of that. If you ever need help, feel free to message me.
he doesn't seem anxious. He just tells me he doesn't want to and I try to ask him why and he says because he doesn't want to lol I thought maybe him going in his underwear it would be like uncomfortable, but he still continuing to do it.
We have the same issue with our 3.5 year old. Pee is absolutely fine on the potty but he refuses to poop in it 🤦🏼♀️
