How are you keeping your Babies cool ?

Baby and I cosleep and I sleep with a sheet and she sleeps in her onesie and she still wakes up toasty (no footies needed)! We don’t really take her out during the main points of heat through the day. We do earlier morning appointments if needed and late evening walkies.

Early morning outtings, stick to the shade, portable fans, dressing in the minimum amount with breathable fabrics.

I like this fan to clip on my carrier when my baby is in the carrier.

I was actually going to ask on here today what you guys were doing with the little ones in this heat? I also live in Texas and don’t dare take the baby out unless it’s early am. It’s so freaking hot 😞 thank god fall is near!

Honestly I don’t take him outside we just sit inside in the air conditioning

Stroller fan and AC on max if we go out I have him in a regular onesie but at home he’s in a light sleeper onesie. I’m debating a move to Alaska right now. Crazy that this summer is mild compared to the last two.

Wondering the same as a ftm; like do our babies need hats outside with the heat being so intense? Is just a onesie and socks with a light blanket okay for outside in the stroller? My bg is going on 11 weeks and already runs hot; we’re in ga and it is terrible and humid

I always put a Sun hat on baby girl! But I have a little pale red head 🤪

I’d do without the socks and blanket for outside!

I live in south Florida-
Everytime we go outside I bring a mister fan filled with ice water to spritz him with, a stroller fan, a camping fan, and washcloths to douse with water if necessary
Also having him wear a sunhat and the lightest clothes possible (basically just a short sleeved onesie)
