I haven’t got baby any vests because I thought a short sleeve body suit would do the same job under a sleep suit. But now I’m second guessing and wondering if j actually need them? Does anyone actually use them?

Hiya, I was told by the midwife the baby will need one more layer than us. In this heat she suggested a short sleeved very and long sleeved baby grow on top. You can use a blanket if more layers are needed.

What even is the difference between a vest and short sleeved body suit? I thought they were the same thing lol 🙈

I haven’t got any vest, only short sleeve and long sleeve x

I thought short sleeved vests were short sleeved bodysuits 🙈 or do you mean actual vests, like with no poppers?
Always poppers, helps contain those poo explosions, and you don't want to keep tucking in vests all the time as baby clothes always ride up!

I haven't got any long sleeved items for this time of year though, just short sleeve. Will go into long sleeve in October/November xx

I have never put a sleeveless vest on my son and don’t have any for baby girl either x

With my first I never had any vests just short sleeved bodysuits. They do the same job, they still where them under a sleep suit/baby grow. Their much more common in the UK. I had an October baby and he wore a short sleeveed bodysuit under any outfit until atleast the following summer.
