Fit to Fly for return flight ??

Hi All, I have a fit to fly letter dated today from the midwife, I'm travelling on Monday and the airline says I need the letter dated 6 days before travel, which is obviously fine for my flight there. However, the midwife says the letters are only valid for 2 weeks, I fly back on the 30th so 16 days from today. I assumed the fit to fly letter would cover a return trip...am I wrong? How could I get a fit to fly letter 6 days before my return flight...that wouldn't make any sense as I would be in Spain. Any advice? Thanks x

Wouldn’t the midwife be able to do a PDF version of the letter and email it over to you? I’m not sure if that would be accepted. Could be worth checking with the airline to confirm x

I am just returning from Spain. I have been here 10 days. I showed the letter and no problem. How many weekd would you be on return

@Conchi I'll be 29+2 on my return flight. Did they ask for the letter both flights?

Just ask the midwife to email it to you a few days after you get there (within 2 weeks before return date)

@Natalie they only asked me on my return but I think it is because I was coming from Spain so wearing less clothes and bump was more obvious.
