late period
guys my period is 3 days late and tell me why i’m freaking out 😭 my daughter is 16 months and i just don’t feel ready for another baby at all yet! i know it’s only 3 days late so it could come soon. i also don’t wanna take a test bc im scared its gonna be positive and im not in the right mental headspace for that result right now 😬 when should i take a test?!

I found out I was pregnant when my daughter was 9 months old! I was so so so nervous I’m now 33 weeks and still nervous but so so excited🥺 whatever happens is meant to happen 🫶🫶 either way you’ve got this ❤️
I found out I was pregnant with my second when my first was 11 months. I only took the test because I was feeling off and figured it wouldn’t hurt. I have always struggled with anxiety and depression and it only got worse once we found out we were expecting another baby. But God has reasons for the little babies he puts in our life. I read something the other day that said “the unplanned babies were sent from heaven by your guardian angels/ loved ones, they were meant to come into this world for a reason.” My husband and I had just gotten back together after a separation period when we found out and it was super surprising! But if it’s meant to be it will be. Keep your chin up and don’t stress, take the test whenever you are ready. And in the meantime if your period comes then no big deal!
On the other end of the spectrum from other comments - my period was super late last month (and then came again 2 weeks later because idk suffering). I think it's possible our hormones are still settling, but even without that in play, this is a stressful age and it could just be naturally delayed. I just kept hydrating and making sure I ate until it showed up, and found ways to distract myself from the Late Period stress.
Mine was a week late 2 months ago and then it showed up 😁 if yours still doesn’t show up I say just wait to take the rest when until low prepared and in the right headspace. Weigh out your options before you take the test
I normally wait about a week or so and then test, but thats me! Periods can be late for other reasons mine have been late just due to stress :)
I found I was pregnant with my son when my daughter was 5 months and now they are 1 year and 2 months and 2 days apart
I skipped the whole month of June and now I'm skipping August it seems. I took a test and it was neg. I'll probably take another one. But idk stress plays a huge factor for me☹️
