no i wouldn’t. a lot of places now adays won’t hire or will find a “different reason”
to fire you while pregnant.
i HAD to tell me job because i do restoration which can be dangerous so now im on “shop lock” where i just clean contents all day. i only
go out if they really need people and im lucky my job is even letting this happen for me

If It’s a new job I wouldn’t tell them until it’s time to go on maternity leave but If It’s a job you’ve been working I would get covered under FMLA to protect your job. I had to get accommodated because I work outside & was putting myself at risk so my job made me get the FMLA paper work filed out by my doctor stating that I was pregnant and I couldn’t do certain things until after I give birth and my job had to follow the accommodations since Georgia has a new pregnancy protection law put into place thank goodness.

If it’s a job you’ve been at I would wait until you can’t hide it. I waited till I was 20wks. But a new job, probably not unless they ask.

If you have been at your job for a year then check on their maternity leave policy, fmla and paid time off. Unfortunately I don’t get it because I didn’t sign up for short term disability.
I let my manager know early on at 7 weeks I was pregnant due to past miscarriages. Thankfully he has been extremely understanding.
I work at a dealership and it is a very hard ask to be out from work for over a month.
They tend to move people around to different departments when you are gone for extended periods so we shall see what happens after maternity leave!
