Teething at 3 months?

On the same boat. Here to follow up answers. I’ve heard it can be a sign of developmental milestone when they find how to bring their hands/stuff to their mouth and it’s essential for starting solids/foods when they are older. I bought teether for my baby girl but she still prefers her little hands over it 🫠 I’m just worried about her teeth/jaw development by sucking too much on her hand so don’t know if that affects it

Another 1st time mum here… my little girl is doing the same and she’s 14 weeks old tomorrow. She’s been doing it for a few weeks and I’ve spoke to my health visitor about it (I also thought it was teething)… turns out around 3 months they start to discover their hands and also their saliva glands start to work (just incase your little one is “drooling” a lot as well).

Also my little girl has been in an amazing routine since about 7 weeks (always slept from 10pm until 4:30-5:30am)… the last week she’s been really unsettled and wakes up constantly during the night😣 apparently at 3 months there’s a sleep regression and “fussy” phase🙈x

No answers, just here to see what others say! My guy has been a hand sucker since the start (hands always in the way of bottle/boob during feeds), but he's definitely been into it more the past week or so. He's also been drooly for l at least a month.

Ok thanks mums, he turned 13 weeks yesterday, he’s already in 6-9 months clothing and I just feel he is more developed for his age, but that’s just my thinking lol. He is slavering a little and foams in the mouth so the saliva glands thing makes sense. He’s never upset, and always goes down well for a sleep, so I’ll just observe and see. He was a planned c-section dead on 38 weeks. X

I don’t mean to burst your bubble but it’s a normal developmental milestone. Does he have bumps on his gums? Generally you’ll see that first at the sign of teething. Four months is more realistic but you’ll really see it around 5-6mo.

I checked her gum and I saw a little teeth coming out in her inner mouth
I was shocked.i always thought first teeth are always in the front
It’s not out completely though and the ones in the front are coming too
She is just 3 months

First time mom and my little girl is in the same page. She has her doctors appointment tomorrow. I’ll let you guys know what she says.

are you sure they’re teeth and not Epstein Pearls? Teeth will look like little slits are first x

So my baby’s pediatrician said that from now on her teeth’s can appear. But this is not her case yet she said that they are discovering their hands and texture and their gums are starting to itch.
