Goat milk formula

Hey everyone :)
So I recently just start supplementing only because my 2month old goes with Dad Wednesday- Friday and it was hard to create a stash of breast milk while having to send it all to him.

So I decided to start her on Kabrita while she’s with her dad only. She does still have breast milk when she’s with him and strictly breastmilk when she’s with me.

I guess I started her on Kabrita because it seems to be closer to breastmilk than other formulas? And also I read that it’s more gentle on the tummy. She hasn’t seemed to have any issues really. She is just a bit more gassy but that’s all.
She also went back down to 3oz instead of 4oz - I guess because the formula has been more filling for her? Idk

Anyone else feeding both breast milk and goat milk formula? If so what are your thoughts and how is it going?

I am. I supplement because I have extreme low production. It gets much much better after she has been taking it for a little bit. Gas was bad at the beginning and some times she has one or another bad hour with gas or reflux but she is 100 times better than when we started. Also after trying lots Goat is what works best

that gives me lots of hope 🥰 seemed like she had reflux from time to time but it’s not too often. Was your baby girl a little more fussy after trying it in the beginning?

of course, remember her digestive system is not fully developed and even tho is made for babies is not natural as breastmilk. Be patient, promise it gets better but make sure you give it to her at least once or twice a day so her body gets used to it. And make sure to burp your baby veeery well because the bottle can make her swallow more air too and have some gripe water and mylicon in hand for those bad gassy days (pediatrician's recommendation)

I was using Holle goat milk in the first few weeks for my little girl but found out she had an intolerance and had to switch unfortunately. Just mentioning this because I went ahead and ordered so many cans from Germany and have no use for them if anyone is interested. They’re unopened and I know are in demand. I went with the EU brand due to recommendations from fellow mamas.
