38 week induction
Had my 36 week growth scan today at 36 weeks and 5 days, baby boy has dropped from 44th centile to 15th centile. Nobody seems overly worried but I am!
I have been diet controlled until today and now been asked to have one metformin tablet before bed for my fasting as they have been within range just on the higher side. I’ve been booked for an induction at 38 weeks as they want to make sure his weight is okay etc.
anyone else had this experience? Can’t help but feel like it’s my fault and I should have had metformin sooner!

When I had GD with my baby she was very high centile, and after being put on metformin and insulin she dropped a whole bunch, from what I understood as to what they told me she dropped because my GD was now 'under control' with the medication, I think they are doing the best thing booking you for an induction however if they aren't worried I wouldn't be either - just watch out for your babies movements and go get checked if there is anything at all worrying you - if it brings any comfort they were also waaaay off what they said she weighed and she came out bang on 50%
