Struggling with toddler

Is anyone else pregnant with second and starting to really struggle with looking after a toddler at same time. My daughter is 18 months, she’s become so clingy but I am finding picking her up painful and getting so tired so quickly now. Feel so guilty that I can’t do the usual things with her and worry that she’ll struggle when her sister arrives in 4 weeks time.

Yes I hear you. my son is 21 months. Feeling exhausted. Getting out of the house morning and after lunch has helped alot..my husband doing the nights and early mornings has helped...

Yes, son is almost 2.5yo, he is super clingy and won't be held by his dad when out and about. I take the rest when I can and try and do more sit down activities, although he would rather run around lol, so not that successful. He currently has Hand foot and mouth, so he is calmer which helps, but would rather him be causing havoc!

Yes I’m with you 🫶🏽 my husband works away so we’ve just had 5 weeks and on the final 6 day countdown of solo parenting and 38 weeks pregnant 🙈 it’s certainly a lot harder than I ever imagined x

Our LG is 1 next week and today learned how to climb the sofa so I’m absolutely terrified to take my eyes off of her as she’s far quicker than me at 35 weeks 🫠

My son just turned one and I’m 36 weeks it’s not easy with another child so young and the mum guilt really kicks in but I’m just trying to soak in the me and him alone time together even just by playing then napping together and cuddling xx

Be kind to yourself. You are so close to the end and your little one won't mind staying at home playing during this time. Once baby is born you will feel better as you won't be pregnant anymore. That's what I keep telling myself! My little girl is also 18 months and I feel your pain, I am absolutely exhausted.

I saw a podcast the other day that said being pregnant with a toddler is 100% worse than having a newborn and toddler 😊 I found this very reassuring!

Here’s hoping the podcast is right 😅🤞🏽🙌🏽

Anxiety with the bump.

I’m 36 weeks pregnant and I’ve suddenly developed a massive anxiety around anyone standing behind me. My husband is annoying me so much because even though I’ve told him how it makes me feel, he’s continued doing stuff in our kitchen (that is tiny anyway) and sliding past me to grab things. I know the baby is safe even if I were to bump the bump a little but even the thought of it is still making extremely anxious. How do I cope with this feeling and is anyone else going through the same sort of thing?

Breathless and feeling like I need to be sitting constantly!

Has anyone else been feeling this way as they're getting closer to their due date?

I attempted to change our bedding this evening and had to call my husband for back up as I literally felt like my lungs were going to explode just trying to reach over to put the sheet on.

I'm huffing and puffing just getting my toddler into his pjs, and I was sat down! Like what is going on 😮‍💨🥲

Everything has been check ie bloods etc so I think it's just general pregnancy as I'm now 38 weeks. My bump feels like it weighs about 100lbs 😭

So I’m 20 weeks pregnant and I went to the hospital for light bleeding when I wipe ( not ever time though).. the doctor told me it was due to sex and that my cervix was irritated has anyone else experienced this? And or know way to just calm my anxiety from it

Friends wedding abroad

Hi all. I know this is FTM... But really need advice. I am currently pregnant with baby #2. Only 8 weeks. I didn't want to tell anyone yet, my partner and boss knows (needed for risk assessment reasons annoyingly). My friend is getting married in a remote part of Spain in ~3 months. I've already had a few minor complications, pain, bleeding, vanishing twin... I got preeclampsia last pregnancy and a terrible birth.
I am pretty sure I don't feel comfortable flying and then travelling out to a remote part of Spain during pregnancy. It will just be me and my toddler. I know it's overcautious but I just don't feel comfortable. I'm not even sure if I am going to be classified as high risk pregnancy or not.
How do I handle this? I need to tell her ASAP, but I didn't really want to tell anyone yet as doc told me miscarriage risk is a bit increased with vanishing twin. Any ideas?

When to prepare?

I’m 34w1d with my second baby. Today at my midwife appointment she said baby is 2/5 engaged, I’ve packed my hospital bags but unsure when to start building baby’s crib. Installing car seat ect. When is everyone else doing these things?
