Hiya!
I’ve just invested in some hands free pumps to make life easier but also to be able to pump whilst out if needed.
Had anyone done this before? I am a bit conscious about the noise etc, do you only do this in a breastfeeding friendly place or just anywhere?

I have! I've always used my wearables when out unless I'm in the car. I pumped on a patio and at a wedding! I try to wear something a bit looser and noise was no issue in busier environments. Some friends told me they didn't even realize I was pumping.

I pumped on the go all the time. In the car, at a drive through, in a store, in parking lots, Dr offices, rest areas, restaurants, etc.
I had wearable cups which made it easier but also used flanges in the car if I wasn't driving. Typically I'd excuse myself to the car if I didn't have my cups and we were out.
Initially it can be strange but that was short lived for me. I traveled with a cooler & adequate ice packs, as well as pump wipes and sanitary wipes. It honestly just became second nature to pump so I just rolled with it. I hated being stuck at home because i needed to pump/ keep a schedule so im glad I got out without having to impact my supply. Never had any issues in my 2x exclusive pumping journies, thankfully.

ah amazing! I don’t want to be stuck to the house either but just feel a bit awkward going out to pump, I will try it at breastfeeding friendly places first to build some confidence. Thank you for sharing your experience!
