Anyone else have the opposite of a Velcro baby?

My first son needed to be held CONSTANTLY or he would cry. My second son likes to be held, but is just as content to lay in his bassinet or even on a blanket on the floor. I'm not sure how much alone time is too much, ya know? If I spend an hour cleaning the house and he's awake just laying on the floor, is he needing more time to connect with me? Just feel a little guilty sometimes when I realize it's been 30 minutes of me doing something and I haven't even stopped to acknowledge him.

Me, kinda. My son will lay in his play mat for up to 15 mins by himself, and can already lay in his bassinet for over 25 minutes and put himself to sleep.

I say don’t feel bad! Babies have different personalities and temperaments, maybe just put some contrast cards or other stuff for him to look at and explore

Same here, my first was so clingy and always on the boob. My second is so chill, and usually in his lounger. I do feel guilty but as long as he is fed and changed it’s ok to be away from him doing things around the house or tending to my toddler.

Omg my two boys are the opposite. My first son was not really that clingy but now my second wants to be held all the time.
