Sertaline !!

i just started on sertraline today, is there any major side effects u noticed when u first started?

I think main side effects for me were the sweating. I’d have night sweats tho and wake up in a puddle of my sweat 😂😂 other side effect is mainly when I’m changing doses or if i forgot to take my tablets for a day then my sleep schedule is a bit thrown off for a day or two but it settles down once I take it regularly xx

i was on that first and i was fine but they switched me to zoloft (they’re the same thing, zoloft is just the “make brand” i guess you could call it) and that gave me horrible night sweats. i had to shower every morning no matter what

do you take yours at night or in the morning, it says it can make you sleepy so im not sure if i should take it in the morning or at night

I used to take them at night! I’m off them now, was on them for about 4-5 years and weaned off them at about 28 weeks during my pregnancy and just stayed off now 🎉

So it’s weird right… if I forgot to take a dose or was getting a different dosage to change I would either be DEAD tired as in I could just fall asleep with a snap and stay asleep for 24 full hours 😂 or I would have insomnia and take till 3/4am to get to full sleep so I can’t even tell you one thing 😅 it was always either or so I just had to clear my schedule for 2 days to make sure I didn’t have anything important to do when I changed my dose xx
