Sucking Blister on 6 week old

Hi hi! My almost 6 week old still has a sucking blister on the center of his upper lip. It’s fallen off twice now but comes back. We breast feed and do two bottles at night for reference. He’s been evaluated for a tongue and lip tie and we’ve been told he doesn’t have either, he’s just an overactive sucker. Did anyone else’s baby have one for an extended period of time? If so when did you notice it finally going away for good? Our pediatrician says it’s nothing to worry about so I’m trying not to, by being a first time mom I can’t help myself 😅 he’s also had one since birth (from sucking on his hands in the womb I presume) if that makes a difference?

My baby is 5m and still has it. He did have his tongue tie snipped but I ended up exclusively pumping so he’s drinking from the bottle. I saw a research recently that lip blister is no longer an indication of feeding issue (let me know if you want me to find it). If it isnt painful for him then I wouldnt worry?

My 3m old has them from time to time. She is an eager eater. She has tongue and lip tie, but eats fine, so we left it alone. I have heard lots of babies have them.

My son doesn't have a tongue or lip tie but has had sucking blisters since birth.

If it’s a clear bubble like blister with no fluid it just might be from sucking and babies tend to get them. Try aquaphor healing ointment on the lips to help, it works wonders

My 2m old still has hers, has been there since about 3 weeks old. It was the worst when she had one all along her bottom lip but that’s gone now. My pedi told me that as long as it’s not fluid filled it’s totally normal and to just watch. Nurse told me I could Apply some Vaseline if I wanted!!
