Days out and naps!
How are you all planning days out around naps?
My LO refuses to nap in the car or pushchair when we go out… and if he doesn’t have his nap, all hell breaks loose 🤣

We are in the same position! If we are very lucky we get a 30 min car nap, but at home it’s usually 2-3hrs.
It can be really hit and miss, some days we go out and she will be fine with 30 mins as we are busy but other times hell breaks loose 😂 it’s a risk we take because I don’t want to be confined to my house 😅
We try and do early bed time to make up for a short nap, or if we can we do an early nap at home then go out after. And not go out too many days in a row to try and stop overtiredness building up.
It’s not easy! 🤣 all my friends children sleep really well in the pram and I’m so jealous hahah.
Same for us. I try to plan to go places after her nap (as we have more time).
If we plan a day out, I just put her in the sling, or we contact nap in the car (if we can). I just have to cope with the fact that she will not sleep for the same length.
I sometimes try for an earlier bedtime, but she rarely actually falls asleep earlier.

My boy used to be a dream...would sleep anywhere, now he only wants his cot!
I hate trying to plan anything as I feel so restricted by his nap schedule. Although the last couple of times he has skipped his nap entirely! 🤔
I might plan a day out soon and just take the risk, I'm fed up of being confined to the house 😩
Everyone says to me: "you will miss it when he drops that last nap".
I honestly don't feel like I would, we would have the freedom of the day and be able to do things!
I am home every single day for nap time 🤷🏽♀️ We are only out for morning or afternoon x
Unfortunately we just make sure we are home for
Nap time. It’s much easier now on one nap but was very hard when it was 2 and 3 naps.

yeah I’m glad we’re on 1 nap else we’d never get out lol
yeah we’ve skipped a nap once or twice before! So seems like they could do a day without one… but is it worth the risk 🤣
We have a snooze shade for the buggy that helps as he can't see what's going on. I much prefer to be home though so either go out early or as soon as he is up from his nap.
